Dexter is a fun guy, and it is easy to see why Sloane never had a chance. The words that come out of Dexter’s mouth will leave you giggling, and the banter between him and Sloane is simply excellent. This book with a good crime case, but it is the pace and the characters that turn it into a page-turner. However, over time, the two start to warm up to each other.
